Michael is the Managing Director of Newport Valuations.   He is responsible for project management and employee development, where he oversees the recruitment and training of analysts and preparation of business valuations.  He also manages complex financial analysis, writes reports, provides litigation support, manages client relationships, and  is involved in practice development.  He manages the following valuation practices: mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, S-corp.,  built-in gains, corporate and partnership dissolutions, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), fairness and solvency opinions, estate, gift and income taxes, FAS 141, 142, 409A, 123(R), business litigation and others.
